Hi Carsten,
Ok. Then please mark the answer as "correct", in case others have the same question .

Hi there,
with the new release you have the possibility to receive with the status 17 message from customs (E_EXP_STA + E_EXP_CTL) the name and the phone number of the customs coworker who´s handling your customs declaration. As it seems, it´s only possible to see the name when you look into the Idocs. Has anybody an idea how we can pull this information into the customs protocol, so that users can see it without looking into the Idocs as it seems to complex for business.
Best regards,
Carsten
Hi All,
We need to upgrade our system from GTS 9.0 to GTS 11.0 Can someone please assist with the steps or procedure for doing the same.
What I understood after going through various forums is that we cannot directly upgrade from GTS 9.0 to GTS 11.0 .First we need to update from 9.0 to 10.0 and then 10.0 to 11.0. please confirm if that's the case. also what are other dependencies involved with these upgrades. Request to share more details on steps or procedure.
Regards,
Somya
Hello All,
please let me know if any one has used Start condition and Schedule condition in Define Conditions/Output Parameters for Communication of General Documents in PPF.
what are the configuration steps we have to do once we select the schedule condition and start condition. Are there any KBA from SAP on this.

Thanks a lot to you both! That is logical.
Hello Somya,
I'm not sure it helps but I would like to give you the following information:
We upgraded from GTS 7.2 to 10.1 and there were some minor issues. As far as I know, there is no need to go to 10.0 and then to 11.0.
Thanks,
Satish
Hi Carsten,
You can use partner function CUSEMP in the declaration.
Thanks,
Satish
Hi Carsten,
I don't think there's going to be any easy way.
It might be best to write a separate report program to find the inbound iDocs for the selected Customs Declaration and display the segments as a list in the results screen. Hopefully you won't have too many Declarations that need such attention.

Dave
Hi MGS,
Although you didn't replied to my queries, whenever you change address manually in a document in ECC, in this case quotation. it generates a new address which is different from master data address and it tagges it as manual change in table VBPA.
Now GTS treats a manual changed address differently.
Please look into these lines, you should get a solution.
Appreciate if you could share your findings for the benefit of all.

Hi Experts,
Please guide me on this.
Let me know if you have questions for me.
Hi Venkat,
The scenario you are running seems to confuse me. The message you have received is a right one, you would get the Message no. /SAPSLL/CORE_PARTNER402 if you haven't had a successful transfer of BP in GTS which in this case happens to be your FTO.
The path you are using which I think is Distribute FTO to Downstream systems is generally used, if you don't want to re-create the organizational units in each of the systems (that is in QA and Production once more). In your scenario, you have mentioned that you are trying to distribute from GTS production to R/3 production, this doesn't make sense to me. You may have to provide more details as to what you are trying to accomplish. GTS organization units are more like master data as compared to R/3 or ECC data, so you would use distribute FTO and LU functionality to send them to other systems (like QA and Prod) rather than re-creating them. Under what scenario would you need the FTO in R/3? Why are you distributing it to R/3?
Thanks,
Shrini
Hi Dushyant,
It's probably simple. In your scenario your combination was CN0001SLOC. The system is allowing for the delivery screening as 0001 plant exists in GTS. 0001 itself is the legal unit in GTS which is mapped to the corresponding plant (for which the delivery was created). If the legal unit of 0001 is not there, then the delivery would have got stopped which is standard SAP. Even though you stated the combination of your legal unit was Country/Plant/Storage location, you haven't defined that as your legal unit anywhere for the system to override (the standard mapping of legal unit 0001 which existed).
Hope it helps! I apologize if I have not understood your scenario correctly.
Thanks,
Shrini
Hi Srinivas,
Thank you very much for replying.
I was not having access to transport from QA to Prod and hence once all the assignments move to GTS production, i have created FTO and LU in GTS Prod.
Now since GTS prod have all the FTO and LUs created with assignments, i am down streaming from GTS Prod to R/3 system by which GTS functionality to be activated for the transactions of new Company code and Plant in R/3.
Pls Correct me if i am wrong..Will the functionality be activated by default for the mapping Company code / Plant once the GTS changes are live in GTS Prod or do we have do additional mapping.
Thanks in Advance.
Hi Venkat,
You have answered your own question. If the mapping exists for the company code and plant within GTS as FTO and LU, you don't have to downstream anything back to R/3.
Good luck!

Maintain the RFC destination through the maintenance of RFC destination for RFC calls, also ensure an RFC Destination for method call is maintained through BD97 and ALE Distribution model is maintained via BD64. If you still face an error check for any authorization error for the RFC User ID being used.
I see a document to avoid these errors is posted, please use this as a reference:
Establishing Connection between SAP Feeder System and SAP GTS System
Hi Dushyant,
As far as I understand, you have different address for Plant and Storage Location hence you have defined separate Legal Unit for each.
But now in this case, you have not defiled legal unit for Plant/Storage location combination but still system is picking legal unit corresponding to plant and carrying out the checks which is expected behaviour as per standard.
To avoid this situation, I believe you should only define a Legal Unit for Plant/Storage Locarion combination. In this case, legal unit mapping is not required for plant alone.Hence, if you have not created a legal unit for plant/storage location combination, system will not find any legal unit and block the document.

Hi Narayana,
Please check if RFC destination assigned in BD97 is in validity date.
