Re: Inbound Deliveries are not making into Worklist in GTS 10.1

Hi Keshav,

As Dave said at the top, plenty of notes with regard to this worklist were released.

Please check if the PO or IBD, either of them have any items blocked in compliance management

If the IBD creation date is used and no other fields are entered, you have a possibility of running into this scenario as well. Do you want to check if this KBA 1457873 holds good for you?

In the event that you have transferred identical PO numbers from different systems, there is a possibility of this scenario. Both these notes 1891468 and 1909443 can be looked too.

Thanks,

Shrini

Hello Dave,

I checked the setting and found that I have wrongly activated the indicators

  • Transfer of Proc. Traffic (IP / PUCC) and
  • Transfer of Finished Product from PUCC

After deactivating those, I am able to get the material document in the Issue table

Thanks & Regards

Hi Dave,

Due to technical issues I could not check the steps suggeted by you. Now I can see in table /SAPSLL/CUHD field value for CDCUS  (Customs service) is set with "X" but initially it was blank. The entry for LECCUS in table /SAPSLL/TLECHS exists. Am I missing something in customization.

Thanks in advance.

Customs shipment(import) not creating despite adding the preliminary document in inbound delivery

Hello All,

We are facing an issue with the customs shipment not getting created at the import side despite adding the preliminary document (T1) in the inbound delivery in feeder system.

This prevents us from not been able to close the transit procedure and subsequently the documents are not appearing in the ‘worklist after GR’ to do the import declaration.

Checked configuration related to preliminary doc type set up in GTS and they all look fine.

It was working fine until last week and we are not sure how to figure out or trace what changes been made to the system that is causing an issue with the customs shipment not getting created all of a sudden.

Any help to figure out the issue would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Suresh.

Hi Suresh,

That's rather a big haystack in which to find the needle!

Why don't you know what changes have been made in the system?  And what about the Test system - is the process still working there? - if so, just compare the settings.

Can't you ask whoever set it up originally, to set it up again?  Alternatively, follow the steps in the GTS Configuration Guide.

If you have a developer, or you have developer skills yourself, debug in Function Module /SAPSLL/CD_MM0B_R3 to see what's going on there.

Dave

US FTZ and Movement types

Hello All,

I am configuring  US FTZ functionality in system and requiring Inputs on the fields maintained in MM0C. Below are the understandings

  • Category of Movement Type
    • Based on the movement types, I can maintain the type of category like the movement type is relevant for scraping, Returns, transfer posting etc. But I am not clear on the effects in GTS
  • Manual Processing Customs Warehouse
    • Mainly required for Inventory adjustments. No material document transferred to GTS. Not able to find the transactions for Inventory adjustments
  • Transfer of Proc. Traffic (IP/PUCC)
    • Not relevant for FTZ
  • Transfer finished product from PUCC
    • Not relevant for FTZ
  • WIP Relevant
    • If the movement type is WIP relevant. Stock list is displayed in FTZ stock list

Thanks & Regards

Value of Goods in GTS for Free/Sample Order in ECC

Hi ,

We need to populate the statistical value in GTS when we have Free of Goods Order.

Currently system only consider Net Value and since Net value is Zero for these orders, Value of Goods shown in GTS is Zero.

Ideally we declare Statistical value GRWR to Customs even in case of free order, but how do we populate that in GTS so that the Value License also depreciate the same amount.

I am sure this is pretty standard scenario but not able to figure setup. Please advice .

Thanks,

Amit

Re: Legal Responsibility Regarding Drop Shipments

Hello Dave,

I am trying to get the business to understand the issue and why I am raising the concern. Here is what I came up with to resolve this issue....

  1. If you use inter-company billing, meaning that both the sales company/plant and the sister(supplying) company/plant are on the same box, the assumption is that the supplying plant will use the sales order to make the follow-on delivery. In this case, the company number associated with the supplying plant should be sent to GTS. Therefore, the FTO and Legal Regulations align.

  2. If the sales company/plant and sister(supplying) company/plant are NOT on the same box, then in this case, a special sales order typed is created, so that no follow-on delivery can be created but can be invoiced. We send the sales plant to GTS and thus the FTO and Legal Regulations are aligned and legal control will be disabled.

What’s the catch? Where do we get the sales plant code? But I think we can figure this out with some digging.

What do you think?

Hello All,

I am trying to get this to work for Import in Customs Management. But I have had no success, so far.

Does anyone know if this function works in Imports and/or Customs Management?

Hi Dean,

Your suggestion sounds reasonable to me, and probably the best you could do in those situations.

In the second case, your Sales Order could either be a Debit Memo Request using the local Plant (for pricing, etc.), or a Third-Party order (with a back-to-back Purchase Order), so there should be full alignment with the FTO.

Good thinking!

Dave

Hello Amit,

the condition GRWR Statistical value must appear in your pricing procedures on the ECC side. Check customizing: Sales & Distibution->Basic Functions->Pricing->Pricing Control->Define and assign Pricing Procedures. Then Maintain pricing procedures and select your prodedure.

On GTS side you find the follwing

free_of_charge.jpg

Value of Goods represents the Net Value and Value for Foreign Trade Statistics (Statistical Value) is GRWR Statistical value

the

Here you can use the chekbox FREE to mark the Position as "FREE OF GOODS" (you must set the value to 0,00 manually).

E.G.

free_of_charge_2.jpg

If you use the User-Exit EXIT_SAPLSLL_LEG_CDPIR3_002 (on ECC) you can set these data automatically by setting the free_of_charge flag in the structure /SAPSLL/API6800_ITM_R3_S. Then you must modify the structure /SAPSLL/API6800_ITM_VAL_R3_S where the QUAL_VAL = GDSVAL. Set VAL-VALUE and VALUE_FLOAT = 0.

Hope that helps

Please advice to point 4 . If Legal regulation is not activated for country NL than none of the order going out of NL will have license determined.

Appreciate your help on this.

To add all other parameters are same like Ship-to/Ship from country, Material.

Re: Value of Goods in GTS for Free/Sample Order in ECC

Hi Amit,

In ECC, you should use the "Pricing for Free Goods" functionality, so that the 100% discount (R100) is ignored in the proforma.  In that way, GTS always gets the correct value.

Dave

Thanks Dave.

We are working out some scenarios on the standard IDES-GTS system and we don't have any test system to compare the settings.

I have also noticed that even after doing PGR the document still appear in the worklist prior to GR.

This was not the case before when we do the PGR the document will not appear in this worklist.

When i try to do the customs declaration from that it says that the preliminary document has already been updated and it is not possible to do the customs declaration. That tells me that somehow the system recognize that the preliminary document has already been added in the IBD in feeder system.

Should there be something that prevents customs shipment not be created at the import side?

Thanks,

Suresh.

If it i s basic question in GTS please kindly forgive me.

Hi Suresh,

Something sounds wrong here.  The creation of a Customs Shipment for Transit, and Declaration before GR are mutually-exclusive in the system.  If you are finding the Inbound Delivery in the "before GR" work-list, then that implies that you have set that flag for the Delivery Type in the Plug-In configuration.

If that's the case, then clear that check-box and your preliminary document should then work properly for Transit.

Dave
